Role and Key Contribution to the Project
FERROVIAL will actively participate in all work packages with particular emphasis on WP5 and WP6. The company will develop a comprehensive solution aimed at optimising road safety, protection, and sustainability through the use of both physical and virtual demonstrators for various types of roads, including urban areas, highways, and tunnels. FERROVIAL’s role involves the creation of digital twins of the road infrastructure to simulate, monitor, replicate, analyse, and predict performance without real-world impact. These digital twins will be utilised to test and validate sensor placement, V2X communications, traffic behaviour, and other critical factors within a simulated digital environment.
